Fernie Heritage Walk
Constructed in 1909 by PV Whelan, the house was a home for the nurses who worked in the hospital built by Doctors Corsan and Bonnel located immediately behing on McEvoy Street. The building served health care workers needs until 1988. Taken over by the present owners (Patrick & Jo Anne Burke) in 1991 and lovingly resoted, it now welcomes visitors to Fernie as the Old Nurses Residence Bed and Breakfast. "Step back into the past."
